1. Service requests
In accordance with Article 5(2) of the Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2009 (hereinafter EMAS Regulation) an organization shall submit an application for registration to the Environment State Bureau comprising a validated environmental statement in electronic or printed form; the declaration as referred to in Article 25(9) of the EMAS Regulation, signed by the environmental verifier which validated the environmental statement; a completed form, which includes at least the mandatory information as set out in Annex VI of the EMAS Regulation.The application shall be completed in the official language.
2. Receipt of services
After receiving the application for registration, the Environment State Bureau shall register that organisation and give it a registration number fulfilling conditions in accordance with Article 13(2)(a) to (f) of the EMAS Regulation. Corresponding with Article 13(3) of the EMAS Regulation the Environment State Bureau shall inform the organisation that it has been registered and provide the organisation with its registration number and the EMAS logo, or it shall refuse to register that organisation in cases outlined in Articles 4 and 5, subject to the Article 6 of the EMAS Regulation.
