1. Service requests
In order to receive a marketing authorisation, a completed submission form shall be submitted, appending the necessary documents:
1) co-ordination with the owner or legal possessor of the immovable property – a private individual – or the possessor of the immovable property owned by the State regarding the intended trade, if trade is to be performed in the referred to immovable property;
2) co-ordination with the organiser of the event regarding the performance of trade at the time and place of the event, if trade is intended at the time and place of the relevant event, except the case if the organiser of the event is a local government of the relevant administrative territory or an institution founded thereof;
3) a sketch of the holding of the place of sale, which has been co-ordinated by the owner or legal possessor of the immovable property;
4) colourful visualisation of the equipment or photo fixation of the point of sale, which represents it from the most significant viewpoints, with indicated dimensions of the equipment elements of the point of sale and description of the materials;
5) the route and time of movement of the mobile retail point (if the trade is intended in several public places).
2. A service charge
The amount of the local government fee for the receipt of a street marketing permit is specified in the binding Regulation No. 7 of the Ventspils State City Council of 14 September 2023, regarding the fees of the Ventspils State capital local government, see Chapter III, fee for Trade in public places.
The local government fee for the issuance of a marketing authorisation shall be paid into the account of the local government of Ventspils State capital, registration No. 40900038010:
AS “Luminor Bank” - LV57RICO0002930064402. Payment amount: see in the price List - the binding Regulation No. 7 of the Ventspils State City Council of 14 September 2023 on fees of the Ventspils State City local Government, Chapter III “fee for Trade in public places”. The payment target shall indicate - the local government fee (Paragraph No. _____ of the Regulations).
3. After examining the received documents, the Economic and Procurement Division of Ventspils State City local Government institution “Ventspils City Council Administration” shall prepare and issue a permit for the sale of streets in a public place or a permit for the organisation of street trade in a public place within 5 (five) working days.
The permit shall be issued in person in the Economic and Procurement Division, by post or sent electronically, in conformity with the indications referred to in the submission of the submitter.
