1. Service requests A person who complies with the following requirements may receive the service: • the training programme developed by the person conforms to the requirements referred to in Cabinet of Ministers 1, 2, 3 or 4 to Cabinet Regulation No. 147 of 19 March 2013; • the lecturers who will conduct the classes shall have higher education and at least a year's professional experience in the field of training envisaged under the curriculum; • a person who wishes to train plant protection consultants is registered in the Educational institutions Register of the State Service of Education quality. Documents to be submitted: • completed form “request for authorisation for training in plant protection”; • a list of lecturers, indicating the education of lecturers and information regarding work experience (mentioning the number of jobs and years worked) in the expected field of training in accordance with the training programme; • a curriculum that specifies the content of the classes and the expected number of hours. 2. Service pay EUR 142.29 shall be paid for the service in accordance with the invoice of the State plant Protection Service, which has been drawn up on the basis of Cabinet of Ministers 2, Paragraph 98 of Cabinet Regulation No. 493 of 12 July 2012, price List of paid services of the State plant Protection Service. the point. 3. Receiving Service The State plant Protection Service shall: • examine the submitted documents; • assess the conformity of the person with the requirements of regulatory enactments; • take a decision to issue a permit for the performance of training of users, operators of use, sellers and consultants of plant protection products.

The decision may be contested within one month from the day of coming into force thereof, by submitting an application to the Director of the plant Protection Department of the State plant Protection Service, the address – Lielvardes Street 36, Riga, LV-1006, or an e-mail to the pasts@vaad.gov.lv.
