1. Service requests
In order to receive a licence, a merchant shall submit an application to the State Police for the receipt of a licence.
An application may be submitted in person, by post or electronically (by sending to the e-mail of the institution a signed with a secure electronic signature (eSignatures)) or using the E-address of the State Police.
By requiring onsite services, to present a personal identification document (Passport or ID card).
In order to receive a licence for commercial activities involving weapons, ammunition and special means, a submission shall be submitted in which the following information shall be indicated:
1. for a commercial company:
1.1.1. the name and unified registration number;
1.1.2. contact information (legal address, telephone number, as well as electronic mail address (if the licence is wanted electronically));
1.1.3. information regarding officials of the merchant (given name, surname and personal identity number or date of birth of the person, if the personal identity number has not been assigned);
1.1.4. information regarding shareholders of the capital company and members of the partnership (hereinafter - members of the merchant):
1.1.4.1. the given name, surname and personal identity number of the natural person or the date of birth of the person, if the personal identity number has not been assigned;
1.1.4.2. the name and unified registration number of the legal person;
1.2. regarding an individual merchant:
1.2.1. given name, surname and personal identity number or the date of birth of the person, if the personal identity number has not been assigned;
1.2.2. contact information (legal address, telephone number, as well as electronic mail address (if the licence is wanted electronically));
1.3. the planned types of activity (manufacture, repair, sale, deactivation, conversion) and types of weapons, firearms, ammunition and special means and categories of firearms and pneumatic weapons;
1.4. the address of the relevant premises (manufacturing premises and shops, repair workshops, deactivation and conversion workshops);
1.5. the type of receipt of the licence - in paper form or in the form of an electronic document.
The following documents shall be appended:
1. a copy of the document, which certifies that the merchant owns or possesses immovable property in which it is intended to store, sell, repair, deactivate, modify or manufacture weapons, firearms components, ammunition of firearms, ammunition components of firearms or special means (shall be submitted if the rights have not been corroborated in the Land Register);
2. a list of employees, in which the given name, surname, personal identity number of the employee or the date of birth of the person, if the personal identity number has not been assigned, and the position shall be indicated;
3. copies of employment contracts entered into with employees for the performance of relevant work.
In order to receive a licence from an arms broker, a merchant shall submit an application to the State Police for the receipt of a licence. The following information shall be indicated in the submission:
1.1. regarding a commercial company:
1.1.1. the name and unified registration number;
1.1.2. contact information (legal address, telephone number, as well as electronic mail address (if the licence is wanted electronically));
1.1.3. information regarding officials of the merchant (given name, surname and personal identity number or date of birth of the person, if the personal identity number has not been assigned);
1.1.4. information regarding the participants of the merchant:
1.1.4.1. the given name, surname and personal identity number of the natural person or the date of birth of the person, if the personal identity number has not been assigned;
1.1.4.2. the name and unified registration number of the legal person;
1.2. regarding an individual merchant:
1.2.1. given name, surname and personal identity number or the date of birth of the person, if the personal identity number has not been assigned;
1.2.2. contact details (legal address, telephone number and electronic mail address (if the licence is wanted electronically));
1.3. the type of receipt of the licence - in paper form or in the form of an electronic document.
2. Receipt of services
After receipt of the application and the documents appended thereto, the State Police Licensing Commission shall, in accordance with the procedures laid down in the Administrative Procedure Law, take a decision to issue a licence or to refuse to issue a licence and inform the merchant regarding the decision taken.
A licence may be received in person in paper form or by sending in the form of an electronic document to the electronic mail address or E-address indicated in the submission of the submitter.
In case of refusal, the submitter shall be informed in person, as well as an extract from the minutes of the meeting of the State Police Licensing Commission regarding the decision taken to refuse to issue shall be sent to the submitter.
