State Digital Development Agency informs that from January 1, 2025, there are changes in the form of identification or connection of a person to the State Administration services portal in Latvija.gov.lv. From 2025 onwards, you can connect to the portal with the eSignatures Mobile mobile application, ID card (eID card), eSignatures card or Smart-ID qualified version of the mobile application, as well as the official means of identification of other Member States of the European Union. Authentication tools issued by banks can no longer be able to authenticate to the portal. The changes have been made in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 752 of 12 December 2023, Amendments to Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 400 of 4 July 2017, Regulations of the State Administration Service Portal 18. ² point.

Smart-ID authentication service provider SK ID Solutions IT informs that from 18.06.2025. at 23:00 to 19.06.2025 at 03:30, scheduled infrastructure maintenance will be performed, during which there will be short-term (up to 30 minutes) interruptions to the Smart-ID authentication tool.

The Health Inspectorate informs that the operation of the e-service “Submission of drinking water testing reports to the Health Inspectorate” has been suspended until rectification of the errors detected therein.
