When allowing a child or teenager to work in gainful employment, it shall be ensured that: • the safety of the workplace concerned, • whether all rights under labour legislation have been secured. A child may be employed as a performer at cultural, artistic, sporting and advertising events, if such employment is not harmful to the safety, health, virtue and development of the child, as well as if one of the parents (guardian) has given written consent and a permit of the State Labour Inspectorate has been received. Such employment should not hinder the education of the child.

At the request of the employer, a statement of (non) criminal record shall be submitted.

Verify whether the employer calculates and pays into the State budget the share of mandatory contributions and the amount of income tax from the income of the employee, as well as the amount of personal income tax withheld from remuneration.
